Following on from her 2017 chapbook 'History-Geography', this new selection brings together poems from Karakaศlฤฑโs 15-year career, vividly translated into English by translator and writer Canan Maraศligil working with British poet Sarah Howe. The Poetry Translation Centreโs World Poet Series showcases the most exciting living poets from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Translation of the Route - Laura Wittner
'Translation of the Route' is the eleventh collection by the award-winning Argentine poet and translator Laura Wittner. In poems that are precise, frank and finely tuned, Wittner explores the specificities of parental and familial love, life after marriage, and the re-ignition of the self in middle age. The poems in this edition, Wittnerโs first collection available in English translation, have been translated by the Mexican-Scottish bilingual poet and translator Juana Adcock.
