Sara Vaghefian

Born in the UK, Sara is of Irish/Iranian descent and is bilingual having been brought up speaking English and Arabic.

She's currently a final year undergraduate at UCL/SOAS studying French and Arabic at UCL/SOAS; once her degree is completeed, she hopes to do further study and research in literature and literary translation.

Sara is completing a translation of the Iraqi poet Hassan Al-Bayati's latest collection of poetry In the Realm of Darkness which is due to be published later in 2009.
