We are an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, and are also supported in our 20th birthday year by a National Lottery Project Grant, and a grant from the T. S. Eliot Foundation. Many of our publications have won English PEN Awards.

The Sarah Maguire Prize for Poetry in Translation is supported by the Estate of Sarah Maguire, the British Council, the Garrick Charitable Trust, the Golsoncott Foundation, and the kind donations of the friends and family of Sarah Maguire.

Our UNDERTOW artists’ development programme for young poets that focuses on working with people from mixed heritage and diaspora backgrounds to unlock the creative potential of polylingualism, has been supported by the Cockayne Foundation, the London Community Foundation, and the Fondation Jan Michalski.
