Saraiki is a dialect of the Punjabi language spoken by 20 million people. This workshop will be lead by Nukhbah Langah was born in Pakistan and came to the UK to complete her PhD on contemporary Siraiki poetry at the University of Leeds.

Nukhbah Langah was born in Pakistan and came to the UK to complete her PhD on contemporary Siraiki poetry at the University of Leeds. She has returned to Pakistan and is now teaching in the English faculty of Forman Christian College University (FCCU) in Lahore.

Previously Nukhbah Langah has previously lead session translating Noshi Gillani and Shakir Shujaabadi.

Our workshops are open to anyone who can contribute a translation of a poem by a living African, Asian or Latin American poet who has an established reputation in their own language.
