Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi read and discussed the new poems he’s written in response to his residency at The Petrie Museum at The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. He was joined by his translator, PTC Director, Sarah Maguire. This intimate event was warmly received by an attentive audience.
The Museum holds world-class collections of antiquities and art works that span centuries and civilisations and, after the reading, we were given a tour of their Egyptian and Sudanese collections by Rachel Sinfield, Acting Head of Education.
