An Arabic English poetry reading in celebration of Refugee Week.

Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi is the author of four volumes of poetry in Arabic including. Songs of Solitude. In 2015 Saddiq was shortlisted for the Ted Hughes Award for his collection He Tells Tales of Meroe. His latest collection A Monkey at the Window, was published in 2016 as a bilingual publication (Arabic and English) by the Poetry Translation Centre and Bloodaxe Books.

Eric N Charles is a Cardiff based poet, dramatist, novelist and manages an Art organisation Black Entertainment Wales. He has worked on poetry anthologies by refugees, other migrants and indigenous artists. Also, he has showcased his first play – My mouth brought me here at the recent Hay Festival.
