Sadly, Kajal Ahmad was unable to travel to the UK to take part in the World Poets’ Tour.
However, we were lucky that Kajal’s translator, Choman Hardi, was able to visit Cardiff Central Library on her behalf.
Choman read and discussed Kajal’s poems with a local Kurdish audience. She was very warmly received.
