Out of Your Head! (OOYH!) is a monthly, non-competitive open-mic night based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
It is an event for those of us who think too much and share too little.
This month, OOYH! is partnering with New Writing North, Poetry Translation Centre and Cumberland Arms, and having its first ever workshop, facilitated by Mymona Bibi and supported by Tahmina Ali.
The workshop will focus on the use of languages and dialects within poetry, and will be a safe place to try out new things, with the hopes that participants will then come to the polylingual poetry night event on the 25th and share work on the open mic.
