With the help of Oded Manor, we translated three short poems from Hebrew by the prize-winning Israeli poet, Tuvya Ruebner, in our workshop on 19th March: ‘I Am Not the Man’, ‘Fare Well, Thank You’ and ‘(When I Arrived the Place Was)’.

This is the first time we’ve translated poems from Hebrew so this was a very interesting experience. Tuvya Ruebner’s poems are deceptively simple and we were pleased with the resulting final versions we worked on together. Let us know what you think!
