Jean Sprackland’s most recent collection, Green Noise, was published in 2018, and Tilt won the Costa Poetry Award in 2007. She is also author of two prose non-fiction books: Strands, the winner of the Portico Prize, and These Silent Mansions. Jean is Professor of Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University.
