Maxamed Ibraahin Warsame 'Hadraawi' is known as the Somali Shakespeare. A world-class poet revered by his people, the PTC is delighted and honoured to present this series of events to mark the publication of his selected poems, at which Hadraawi will read alongside his translator, W N Herbert.
Persian Poets’ Tour 2013
Following the success of our 2012 Persian Poets' Tour, we're delighted to announce that three of the poets, Azita Ghahreman, Reza Mohammadi and Shakila Azizzada, will be returning for five readings this summer.

Sudanese poet, Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi, was Poet in Residence at The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology. He was commissioned to write new poems inspired by their collection of ancient Sudanese artefacts
